Topic: Mainstreaming Students with Learning Disabilities
Therese Padilla Abonales teaches at the School of Foreign Languages School, Jimei University, China. She has published short stories in Philippine journals, and articles in local newspapers in China. In 2016 she presented and later published her paper titled, Mobile Technology and the Creation of an Artificial English-Language Environment outside the Chinese Classroom at the 4th International Conference on Learning, Education and Pedagogy, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. She was awarded Best Presenter by the organizers (ADTEL). In 2019 she presented her paper titled Conducting Special Education, Speech and Occupational Therapies in English for Children with Autism in the Philippines: Rationale, Problems and Recommendations at the 2019 WEI International Academic Conference, Boston, USA.
