Topic: Do teacher education institutions promote pre-service teachers’ thinking skills and understanding of physics concepts?
Lina Aviyanti is a Ph.D. in Physics Education at Flinders University. Her doctoral research focuses on students’ thinking skills and understanding of physics concepts at the higher education level. She is also a lecturer in the Department of Physics Education at Indonesia University of Education (UPI), working with students studying at the undergraduate degree. She have experience in working and collaborating with Indonesian teachers at the secondary school in the training of Software Education and Lesson Study. Her research interests centre on the assessment and measurement of student academic achievement in physics using applications of Rasch Model dan Structural Equation Modelling (SEM).
