3. By Bus
Go for DAMRI bus Soekarno-Hatta Airport – Blok M, you can hop off at two spots:
- Blok M, which you have to continue by using Transjakarta Bus from Blok M station to Masjid Agung station (only 1 stop)
- In front of The Great Mosque of Al Azhar or ‘Halte Masjid Agung AL Azhar’ (Jl. Sisingamangaraja)
How to get to Universitas Al Azhar from Blok M Station:
Get on Transjakarta bus lane towards ‘Kota’, only one stop. Hop off at Masjid Agung Station, then cross the road you will enter through the front of The Great Mosque.

*Transjakarta Bus needs a card to tap in, as there is no manual ticketing. You can buy at the ticketing entrance for estimated price IDR 50.000/USD 4 (with IDR 20.000/USD 1.5 balance)
